Unicaja Banco held today in Malaga the second meeting with the Legal Representation of Employees (RLT), within the formal consultation period, under the labour negotiation process started after the merger with Liberbank.

At the meeting, independent experts have explained to the RLT the descriptive Technical Report on the causes justifying the process, and they have clarified the queries posed.

On the other hand, the institution’s Management has presented a proposal for the harmonization of working conditions, both in terms of labour regulations (working hours, vacations and leaves, among others) and social benefits (financial aid, financing for employees, leaves of absence, etc.).

Unicaja Banco’s labour negotiation process started its informal period on 22 September, with meetings held on 5, 14, 15 and 27 October. Then, the formal consultation period started on 3 November, establishing a Negotiation Committee and a calendar of meetings, as set forth in Articles 51, 40 and 41 of the Workers’ Stature.

The next meetings will be held on 16, 17, 23 and 24 November and on 1 and 2 December. (Further information: 5 October14 October15 October20 October27 October and 3 November).
