Unicaja launches a new bonus promotion for direct deposit of salary or pension, offering up to 450 euros gross during the first year. As a novelty, self-employed workers will be able to benefit from this initiative by direct debiting their contributions to the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers (RETA).

This promotional action will be in force until 31 January 2026 and is aimed both at new customers, who can sign up at Unicaja's extensive branch network, and at those who have not had their salary, pension or self-employed contributions paid directly into their account in the last 12 months, and who can sign up through their branch or Digital Banking.

Bonus

The promotion includes an incentive of 450 euros gross for salaries or pensions equal to or greater than 1,200 euros per month or for self-employed fees equal to or greater than 50 euros per month.

The bonus will be 350 euros gross in the case of assets ranging between 600 and 1,199 euros per month. The bank has reduced the minimum amount required, from 800 euros in the last campaign to 600 euros in the current promotion.

In addition, new customers will enjoy six months of exemption from commissions in the Zero Plan (Individuals or Professionals/Agro), without having to meet the usual requirements.

To access the bonus, it is necessary to have Bizum activated in the Unicaja app, except in the case of those over 75 years of age and the self-employed, who are exempt from this requirement.

With this new action, Unicaja reinforces its positioning as a leading bank in the areas where it operates, promoting a close and useful banking committed with the real needs of its customers.

Commitment to the customer

The bank's previous action to increase the number of customers with payrolls paid into Unicaja was very well received, with 6 out of every 10 customers recruited during the promotion being new. This figure shows the success of the initiative in attracting new profiles and expanding the bank's customer base.

Improving the customer experience and strengthening ties with key segments, such as individuals and the self-employed, are pillars of Unicaja's Strategic Plan 2025-2027.

In short, with the customer at the center of its strategy, the bank continues to expand its range of products and services adapted to the needs of each segment of the population, with competitive, quality solutions that contribute to facilitating financial management.

*This promotion is valid until January 31, 2026, for existing and new customers who set up direct deposit of a salary or pension of €600 net per month or more, or their self-employed social security contribution of €50 or more per month, not previously deposited with Unicaja in the previous 12 months. A net incentive of €283.50 will be paid for setting up direct deposit of a salary or pension between €600 and €1,199, or €364.50 net if the amount is €1,200 or more, or if the self-employed social security contribution is €50 or more. To receive the incentive, Bizum must also be activated in the Unicaja app (except for those over 75 and the self-employed) and a 24-month commitment agreement must be signed. You have 3 months from the date of signing up to meet these conditions. The incentive is subject to taxation as investment income.
