Unicaja has launched the 'Requetecuenta digital autónomos', a remunerated online account aimed at new self-employed customers, which offers an attractive return of up to 3% APR for the first 12 months. To access this remuneration, users must set up a direct debit of the self-employed contribution of at least 50 euros per month.
The remuneration is applied to a maximum average balance of 20,000 euros and is settled quarterly. In addition, the account provides for the refundn of 1% of the sum of the main direct debited bills (water, electricity, gas, telephone or Internet) with an annual limit of 100 euros.
It also includes exemption from account maintenance and administration fees, as well as from transfers made through the online channel or at ATMs.
Likewise, the 'Requetecuenta digital autónomos' incorporates the associated Visa Business Debit card, with no issue or maintenance costs, and allows the free deposit of national cheques in euros.
The account is available to be subscribed exclusively online and the promotion will be valid until 31 January 2026.

(1) Special conditions for new self-employed customers. This offer is for individuals who have not had any Unicaja product or service in the last 12 months, in any form. Only one account per customer is allowed. Representative example: If you set up a direct debit for your self-employed social security contribution of €50 or more per month for the first year, and maintain a constant average balance of €20,000, you will receive €593.40 in gross annual interest, applying a 3.00% APR (2.967% nominal annual interest rate). During this period, you will not be eligible for other promotions related to payroll, pension, or self-employed social security contributions. After the first year, the return will be 0.00% APR (0.00% nominal annual interest rate). Interest is paid quarterly. No maintenance or administration fees. Offer valid until January 31, 2026.
(2) Quarterly refund of 1.00% of the total amount of direct debits charged to the account holders during the billing period, up to a maximum of €100 per year. Only water, electricity, gas, and telecommunications bills are eligible for this refund. This offer cannot be combined with other similar promotions.
The refund on direct debits is subject to taxation and is considered income from movable capital obtained from the transfer of equity to third parties, pursuant to Article 25.2 of Law 35/2006 on Personal Income Tax (IRPF). Pursuant to Articles 74.1 and 75.1 of the IRPF Regulations, it is subject to withholding tax at the applicable rate.
(3) Exemption from fees for standard and instant euro transfers between customer payment accounts located in the SEPA zone, made through Unicaja's Online Banking, Mobile Banking, or its ATM network. This exemption excludes Funds Transfer Orders (OMF) issued through the Bank of Spain.
(4) Visa Business Debit card with no issuance or maintenance fees, provided it is linked to the Self-Employed Digital Superaccount or you spend over €3,600 on purchases and/or mobile top-ups within a year (average monthly spending of €300). Cancelled transactions and refunds will be deducted. In all other cases, the annual maintenance fee is €32.
