Unicaja has launched an online account aimed at new self-employed customers, with no maintenance or administration fees and which allows them to benefit from a 1% cashback on the amount of bills paid by direct debit (water, electricity, telecommunications and gas), up to a limit of 100 euros per year.
It is also associated with a Visa Business Debit card, which is also free, both in terms of issue and maintenance.
Subscription is 100% digital and is available through the Unicaja website. In addition, the account includes exemption from fees on transfers made through the online channel or at ATMs, deposit of national cheques in euros and receipt of SMS alerts.

1) This offer is aimed at people who have not had any Unicaja product or service in the last 12 months, under any circumstances. Only one account per customer is allowed.
2) 0.00% APR (0.00% NIR) Interest-free. APR calculated on a constant average balance of €6,000 over one year. Quarterly settlement. No administration or maintenance fees. Fee waived for standard and immediate transfers in euros between customer payment accounts located in the SEPA zone made through Unicaja's Electronic Banking, Mobile Banking, or its ATM network. Funds movement orders (FMOs) through the Bank of Spain are excluded from this exemption.
3) Quarterly refund of 1.00% of the sum of the amounts of direct debit bills in the name of the holders charged during the settlement period, with a maximum limit of €100/year. For these purposes, only water, electricity, gas, and telecommunications bills are included. This discount cannot be combined with other similar promotions.
The discount on direct debit bills is subject to tax and is considered income from movable capital obtained from the transfer of equity to third parties, pursuant to Article 25.2 of Personal Income Tax Law 35/2006. Pursuant to Articles 74.1 and 75.1 of the Personal Income Tax Regulations, they are subject to withholding tax at the current withholding rate.
4) Visa Business Debit Card with no issuance or maintenance fees, provided it's linked to the Online Self-Employed Account or you spend more than €3,600 in purchases and/or mobile top-ups within an annual period (monthly average of €300). Cancelled transactions and refunds are deducted. In all other cases, the maintenance fee is €32 per year.
