Grupo Unicaja has initiated a series of meetings with private banking clients with the aim of conveying its vision of the market, informing them of the economic and financial outlook for 2025, and presenting the mutual funds that may best suit their needs.

With these seminars, called ‘De ahorrador a inversor-Unigest & Banca Privada 2025’, which will be held periodically throughout Spain, the bank aims to inform its private banking clients of the risks and opportunities in this area in the current financial year, as well as to learn about their savings objectives and goals in order to have the most appropriate fund.

These meetings, which respond to a model of direct customer relations, have already been held in cities such as Cádiz, Cáceres, Seville, Madrid, Cuenca, Málaga, Toledo, Salamanca and Valladolid and have been attended by representatives of Unigest and Unicaja Private Banking.

These conferences will be followed by others in different cities in Andalusia, Asturias, Cantabria, Castilla-La Mancha and Castilla y León.

The meetings are part of the regular agenda of actions that the bank promotes on a regular basis with the purpose of offering comprehensive, personalized and specialized advice to its clients when managing their assets, and, in this way, being able to adapt to the needs and preferences of each of them.

Thus, through an exhaustive analysis and selection of investments, it offers clients strategies adapted to their risk profile, objectives and preferences.

Record figure

In the case of Unigest, Grupo Unicaja's fund manager, it achieved net subscriptions of more than 1,500 million euros in 2024, reaching a record for the year and becoming the fund manager with the highest growth in the year among listed entities with a banking network, with an increase of 18.8% compared to 7.7% for the sector as a whole.

This growth (11% higher than the sector average) is in addition to the revaluation of the funds under management, whose assets have grown by 2,000 million euros. This figure represents a growth of 24% compared to the end of the previous year, a percentage that places Unigest among the best fund managers in this area.

At the end of 2024, it reached an all-time record in assets under management, exceeding 10,000 million euros, reflecting the confidence of investors and the efficiency of its growth strategy.

In addition, last January, Unigest was among the fund managers with the highest net subscriptions recorded in Spain. Specifically, it almost quadrupled those recorded in the same month of 2024.

It registered 371 million in net subscriptions, compared with 95 million in January 2024. These figures represent a 10.4% share of total net subscriptions in the sector.
