More than 15,000 people participated this Sunday in Salamanca in the 10th Walk Against Cancer, organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer to raise funds to fight this disease. Unicaja has joined one more year this solidarity initiative, which is a must in the city and the province. In the delivery of gifts, held at the end of the tour, the head of Stakeholder Relations of Unicaja, María José Rivera, was present.

Surrounded by a festive atmosphere, the crowd of participants, dressed this year in white T-shirts, departed from the Nueva del Arrabal church. Then, the participants walked for six kilometers through the most central streets of the city, passing through Toro and Zamora streets, ending, for the second consecutive year, in the Plaza Mayor, where the traditional manifesto was read by the organizers.

The Plaza Mayor has hosted the end of the party, with various activities, musical performances and delivery of gifts, and with the possibility of joining the pincho and charity menu that some restaurants have incorporated into this festive day.
