Unicaja renews sponsorship of the Miguel Delibes National Journalism Award

The award, organized by the Press Association of Valladolid (APV), is endowed with 6,000 euros, provided by the financial institution

Unicaja and the Press Association of Valladolid (APV) have renewed the agreement under which the financial institution will continue for another year as the main sponsor of the Miguel Delibes National Journalism Award, which this year reaches its 28th edition. The agreement was signed by the Head of Stakeholder Relations, María José Rivera, and the President of the Press Association of Valladolid, Juan Martín.

 

The award has an economic retribution of 6,000 euros, provided by Unicaja, an institution that began its association with this contest at the time of its creation in 1996.

 

On behalf of Unicaja, María José Rivera has highlighted the prestige of this award in the national journalistic field, and thanked the Press Association for returning to trust the entity as a sponsor in this edition. For his part, the president of the APV, Juan Martín, expressed his satisfaction for the renewal of the historical collaboration between both entities.

 

In the next few days, the APV will disclose the rules of the new call for the twenty-eighth edition of the Miguel Delibes National Journalism Award, which counts among its winners outstanding figures of literature and journalism such as Fernando Lázaro Carreter, Juan José Millás, Luis María Anson, Ignacio Camacho, Iñaki Gabilondo, Pepa Fernández or Martín Caparrós, among many others. The winner of the 2023 edition was SER journalist Mara Torres, presenter of the nightly program “El Faro”.
