Unicaja shows its support to the agricultural sector of Granada, and especially the fruit and vegetable sector, with its participation in the Asparagus Gastronomic Fair, held in Huétor Tájar (Granada) this Friday and Saturday, 12 and 13 April, one of the most important national events dedicated to this crop.

The financial institution is present at the fair, where it brings to the attendees its wide and specialized range of financial products and services for the agricultural sector, and the fruit and vegetable sector in particular.

Likewise, Unicaja intends to contribute to the development of actions aimed at facilitating the economic boost in the asparagus sector, a crop with social singularity and deeply rooted in the area, as well as promoting entrepreneurship and supporting employment in one of its areas of action, such as the province of Granada.

Complete range of products for the agricultural sector

Unicaja, in its traditional support to the agricultural sector, offers a wide and complete range of products and services for this sector, aimed at meeting the financing and investment needs of companies and self-employed people in the sector.

In this regard, its line of pre-approved loans for intensive crops, aimed at covering the expenses derived from the agricultural season, stands out. These loans are characterized by the agility in their granting, so that the amount necessary to cover the initial expenses and investment of the season can be made available quickly and immediately.

The institution also offers a wide range of agricultural insurance to protect and guarantee production and farm facilities, as well as support in the processing of Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) 2024 subsidies, by offering customers the possibility of advancing the amount with loans under favorable conditions, in addition to advice, management and personalized processing of their application dossiers.

To facilitate their day-to-day activity, it offers the Fee-Free Professional Plan for the Self-Employed, with which they can benefit from multiple advantages, such as accounts without maintenance or administration fees, online transfers without issuance fees, associated professional credit card or linked wireless mobile POS without maintenance fees, among others, if they meet some conditions.

About the fair

The town of Huétor Tájar in Granada has recovered this year the Asparagus Gastronomic Fair (Fadespa), whose last edition was held in 2009 and was one of the most important in the country dedicated to this crop.

Organized by the City Council and various cooperatives in the town, the fair takes place on 12 and 13 April at the fairground of the town and has more than thirty exhibitors offering food tastings, show cooking, children's corner and additional activities that revolve around the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Purple Green Asparagus of Huétor Tájar.
