More than 15,000 people participated this Sunday, 8 October, in Salamanca in the 9th Walk Against Cancer, organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) to raise funds and that, once again, has had the collaboration of Unicaja Banco.

The walk started in the area of the Nueva del Arrabal church. Then, the participants ran for six kilometers through the most central streets of the city, passing through Toro and Zamora streets, ending, as a new feature this year, in the Plaza Mayor.

Indeed, the Plaza Mayor has hosted the end of the party, with various activities and the possibility of joining the pincho and charity menu of some locals who have joined the initiative.

The aim of this walk was to raise funds for research, but also to celebrate the commitment to the AECC shown throughout the year by society, especially by the people of Salamanca.
