The city of Fuengirola, in Malaga, wil host form 14 to 16 July the 4th Padel Charity Tour Circuit of the Real Madrid Foundation, with Unicaja Banco as official sponsor. After the presentation in Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid) and the events in Toledo and Córdoba and Roquetas de Mar (Almería), the sports center Higuerón Resort in Fuengirola will host the fourth of the eight amateur tournaments that make up this national circuit, whose benefits go to the social and sports projects of the Real Madrid Foundation.

This tournament includes, on Sunday 16, a clinic that will feature the nine-time world champion padel Carolina Navarro and the Asociación Palas Para Todos, which works on the integration of people with disabilities through this sport.

The Padel Charity Tour Circuit of the Real Madrid Foundation by Unicaja Banco is defined by its ‘3 S’: solidarity (all proceeds will go one more year to social projects of the Real Madrid Foundation), sustainability (in each tournament the recycling of glass and plastic is encouraged, and the balls used will be donated afterwards), and saludable -healthy- (by giving the winners boxes of seasonal vegetables and fruits).

Unicaja Banco’s support for this initiative is part of its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) exercise, in its interest in promoting the practice of sports in society and in collaborating with programs that, like those of the Real Madrid Foundation, support the most vulnerable people. It also responds to the institution’s commitment to the development of actions that contribute to generating value in its areas of action, such as, in this case, the province of Malaga.

Registration

Registration for the tournament is open to all amateur players, with or without a federation license. There will be eight categories: men’s 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th; women’s 3rd, 4th and 5th, and mixed. In addition to prizes and raffles, during the circuit there will be special distinctions for the player who shows the fairest play and for those who have participated in the most events.

Other tournaments

After this tournament, the tour’s next destinations Alicante (11-13 August), Madrid (14-17 September), Santander (20-23 September) and finally Málaga (20-22 October), which will host the circuit’s final. Thus, with a national scope, all fans have the opportunity to participate and win the charity tour.

The proceeds of the Padel Charity Tour of the Real Madrid Foundation by Unicaja Banco are destined to the social and sports projects of the Real Madrid Foundation in Spain to attend diversity. This tour has the support of Unicaja Banco as official sponsor, Diputación de Almería, Adidas Pádel, Padel Nuestro, Carmencita, Ecovidrio and Comunidad de Madrid, and is organized by Metódika Eventos.
