The event to present the agreement and the new kits for the 2021-2022 season, with the bank’s brand, has been held today at Unicaja Banco’s main branch in Avilés.

The event has been attended by the Councilor for Sports of Avilés City Council, Nuria Delmiro; Fundavi’s Manager, Juan Bedia, ADBA President, María José Ondina; the Club’s Sporting Manager, Amalio Álvarez; Unicaja Banco’s Manager for Northeastern Asturias, Blanca Elena Rodríguez Fernández and the head of Aviles main branch, Marco Santos García. Other members of the club’s management and some players were also present.

The Club has thanked Unicaja Banco for its support in the year of its 35th anniversary and for the confidence shown with the support to the presented sport project.

Promotion of sports and its values

This agreement reflects Unicaja Banco’s commitment to sports and, more specifically, to women’s sport, increasing its presence in the area of Aviles. At the event, special mention was made to the philosophy that the participating institutions share, promoting sports and its values, such as effort, desire to improve and teamwork.

One of Unicaja Banco’s commitment is the promotion of healthy habits, especially among children, which is why the example that the players of this team transmit to young people is so important.

With the support to these teams, the bank shows its commitment to Asturias and to inclusive education through sport, within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
