Unicaja Banco, as part of its commitment to promote sports in the areas where it operates, and coinciding with the game between Unicaja Banco Oviedo Baloncesto and Cáceres Patrimonio de la Humanidad, held on Saturday 6 November at Polideportivo Pumarín (Oviedo), organized a meeting between the management of both teams, in order to foster their close relation, as a common sponsor of both teams.

 

The bank gives name to the Asturias team, being its main sponsor, and it also sponsors Cáceres Patrimonio de la Humanidad.

 

At the beginning of the game, gifts were exchange, with the presence of both team’s managers, Fernando Villabella (Oviedo) and José Manuel Sánchez (Cáceres), as well as of Ana Echenique, Unicaja Banco’s Head of the CEO Cabinet, and José Marcos Fernández, Regional Manager of Commercial Banking at the financial institution.

 

Unicaja Banco fosters and supports basketball in its home regions and, in this case, it collaborates with these two teams that are a reference in Asturias and Extremadura.

 

The support to sports and the promotion of sport practice respond to Unicaja Banco’s commitment to fostering a healthy lifestyle, within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
