Unicaja Banco reinforces its products for the under 18s and rewards the subscription of Teen prepaid cards and Children’s Savings Insurance

With these products, the bank allows customers with children under age 18 to plan their savings and to guide them to learn money management

Unicaja Banco intensifies its commitment to the under age 18 with the launch of a campaign, in force until 30 July1, which will reward the subscription of products such as Seguro Univida Ahorro Infantil (Children’s Savings Insurance) or the Teen Card, a prepaid card for teens to learn to manage their money.

 

A good prior financial education is key for teenagers to learn to save and spend properly. For that purpose, Unicaja Banco offers the Teen prepaid card2, aimed at those aged between 14 and 17 years old. Under the said campaign, those who apply for a card will be able to enter the draw of a PS5 console. To enter the promotion, check the terms here.

 

With regard to the advantages of the Teen Card, as it is a prepaid card, it is ideal for daily expenses. The card can be topped up from Unicaja Banco’s digital banking and at ATMs and branches.

 

With these cards, users know at any time the balance and movements made, and they can set up their use, having also the option to block the card. The Teen Card has no issue or maintenance fees, and top ups are free of charge, with no minimum amount –except the first top up, with at least 10 euros-. It allows mobile payments and is available for Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay.

 

Seguro Univida Ahorro Infantil

 

Another option to enter the draw of the PS5 is with the Seguro Univida Ahorro Infantil3, subscribed with Unicorp Vida, insurance company held at 50% by Unicaja Banco and Santalucía.

 

 

Seguro Univida Ahorro Infantil is a flexible insurance, as it can be subscribed from 30 euros per month, but it allows to make extraordinary contributions at any time. It provides security and liquidity.

 

In general, Univida Ahorro Infantil is conceived as a savings plan with regular contributions, but which allows extraordinary contributions too.

 

With these two products, Unicaja Banco’s customers with children under age 18 can plan their savings, cover their first financial needs and guide them to learn money management.
