The awards for the best academic records of the University of Oviedo have, once again, the collaboration of Unicaja. The bank and the academic institution have renewed this commitment with the signing of a new agreement to support and finance the awards that the University of Oviedo presents on the occasion of the celebration of its patron saint, St. Catherine of Alexandria, on 24 November.

Specifically, the financial institution will present the Unicaja Award for the Best Record of the University of Oviedo, in addition to the awards for the best records of the Degree in Business Administration and Management and the Degree in Economics.

The agreement was signed during a meeting in the Press Room of the Historic Building of the University of Oviedo, which was attended by the head of Unicaja's Northern Business Banking, José Marcos Fernández, and the vice-rector for Transfer and Business Relations, Susana Luque.

José Marcos Fernández emphasized "the importance of collaborating with the University by supporting these awards, which make visible through our students such important values for our society as effort, perseverance and excellence". He also stressed Unicaja's commitment to "promote and facilitate access to university education, as a tool for future integration into the labor market".

For her part, Susana Luque thanked Unicaja for its commitment to the academic institution, reflected in these awards. "This agreement demonstrates the bank’s commitment to young talent and reflects the importance of working together to promote quality education and contribute to social development," said the vice-rector for Transfer and Business Relations.

For her part, Susana Luque, Vice-Rector for Transfer and Business Relations at the University of Oviedo, highlighted the fact that the bank has renewed its commitment "to promoting academic excellence and supporting young talent". According to her, "this agreement, which makes it possible to finance the awards for the best academic records of our university, demonstrates the relevance of joint work between institutions to promote quality education and contribute to social development". The Vice Chancellor thanked Unicaja for "its continued support for the education and future of our students".
