Marenostrum Fuengirola, with Unicaja as its main sponsor, has officially unveiled the programme for its eleventh season, an edition that will feature more than 40 concerts already announced, over 100 national and international artists, and more than 210,000 tickets sold. Furthermore, the 2026 edition kicks off with seven sold-out events, and several more on the verge of selling out.
The new season will bring together some of the most influential figures on the current music scene. From Alejandro Sanz to Lola Índigo, Aitana and Dani Martín, alongside international names such as Sting, and key figures on the national scene such as Pablo Alborán and Pablo López. A diverse and ambitious line-up that reinforces Marenostrum Fuengirola’s ability to attract diverse audiences across different generations.
Highlights of this year’s festival include the opening concert of El Último de la Fila’s new tour, following a 30-year hiatus; a performance by La Oreja de Van Gogh, featuring the return of Amaia as lead vocalist; the eagerly awaited reunion of Los Delinqüentes; and the first joint tour by Romeo Santos and Prince Royce, one of the international events of the year.
The venue’s versatility also allows it to host themed festivals that broaden the cultural offering and cement Fuengirola’s status as a musical destination throughout the summer. Events such as Fulanita Fest are back, featuring Fangoria, Natalia Lacunza and Chanel; Sun and Thunder, an international heavyweight in heavy metal with special shows such as Avantasia’s only concert in Spain; and Cochera Comedy, with Ignatius, Salva Reina, Manu Sánchez and El Monaguillo.
Commitment to culture
Unicaja, the main sponsor of Marenostrum Fuengirola, reaffirms once again its unwavering support for the concert series, which it has backed since its very first editions.
This support is part of the financial institution’s commitment to initiatives that contribute to local development, social cohesion and the cultural profile of its home regions, integrating culture as a valuable asset for the community.
Many of the concerts will take place on the ‘Unicaja’ stage, the main stage of Marenostrum Fuengirola, situated on the hill of Sohail Castle and with a capacity to host events for up to 18,000 people, offering a complete musical experience on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
