Award projects of social impact and technological innovation of students from educational centers in Salamanca

Unicaja and the Pontifical University of Salamanca (UPSA), through the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Transfer and framed within the University Innovation Club (CUI), have launched a new edition of the Talent Junior call, with the aim of channeling the talent of Salamanca students towards innovative projects that generate a positive impact on society, promoting knowledge transfer.

 

This initiative is aimed at students of Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training in the province of Salamanca. The projects and products developed by the students must be innovative, have a social purpose and be aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

 

In addition, all projects submitted will compete for a total of ten prizes with a maximum endowment of 1,000 euros, which will be shared with NGOs and non-profit associations in the province, dedicated to social inclusion. The deadline for submitting projects is 18 December 2025.

 

 

Commitment to social inclusion

 

Unicaja and the UPSA have a collaboration agreement with the aim of promoting the talent of Salamanca's non-university students by directing it towards projects with a social impact, as well as encouraging the transfer of knowledge to Salamanca's society. In addition, both institutions share their commitment to social inclusion and collaborate closely with non-profit organizations.

 

The Talent Junior call is an initiative that fulfills the commitment to promote the exchange of talent, knowledge, creativity and technology between students and institutions and economic and social agents.

 

Focused on people, for Unicaja as a financial institution, it is important to develop products and services oriented to the needs of the entire population. In addition, it seeks to promote social, digital and financial inclusion, also encouraging practices to promote training and financial culture among the population, especially in rural areas or in favor of groups at risk of exclusion, such as the elderly or people with different abilities.
