The Talayuela Multisectoral Fair 2026, organised by the Moralo Business Circle and the local town hall, will be sponsored by Unicaja. The financial institution is supporting this initiative, which will take place on 20 and 21 March at the Talayuela Exhibition Centre (Cáceres), with the aim of revitalising the region’s business and economic fabric.

The agreement was signed at Talayuela Town Hall during an event attended by the town’s mayor, Roberto Baños, the president of the Moralo Business Circle, Ramón Barbado, and Unicaja’s regional manager for Extremadura, Marga Serna, who highlighted the importance of such agreements, which raise the profile of the business sector and foster its growth.

For Marga Serna, “it is these actions that allow us to work closely with businesses in our region and offer them our full support. For Unicaja, the business community is one of our priorities; we work day in, day out to provide them with the most suitable products and services to improve their businesses, foster their growth and make them more competitive”.

The mayor of Talayuela, Roberto Baños, thanked Unicaja for its support of this initiative and highlighted the importance of collaboration between institutions and businesses to drive the region’s economic development.

“For Talayuela, it is essential to commit to initiatives that generate opportunities for our businesses and our entrepreneurs. This Multisectoral Fair is being relaunched with the aim of becoming a meeting point for the business community, a space to showcase the talent, effort and capacity for growth that exists in our region.”

He also noted that “the support of organisations such as Unicaja demonstrates that when local authorities, businesses and associations work together, we are capable of creating projects that benefit the entire region and help to boost the local economy”.

The president of the Moralo Business Circle, Ramón Barbado, noted that “When a major financial institution such as Unicaja decides to back a regional event like this fair, it is sending a clear message: it believes in the talent, in the businesses and in the future of our towns”.

An opportunity for businesses and entrepreneurs

More than 60 companies will be taking part in the Fair, showcasing their activities at their respective stands. This provides a showcase for these local businesses and entrepreneurs, as well as a networking opportunity to connect with other companies, institutions and suppliers.

The fair will be open to everyone as, in addition to the exhibition area, it features a wide range of supporting activities, with the aim of making the event an attractive and dynamic experience for all visitors. To this end, workshops, talks, product tastings, exhibitions and concerts have been organised. There will also be a food truck area.

It will take place on 20 and 21 March at the Talayuela Exhibition Centre, with continuous opening hours from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm.
