Unicaja will once again participate in the Salamaq 2025 fair, which will be inaugurated this Thursday, 4 September, in Salamanca. The bank, a main player in the agricultural sector in Salamanca and Castilla y León, will have, as in previous editions, a stand, showing its support to the agricultural, livestock and agri-food sector.
In this space of 60 square meters, located in the Central Pavilion of the fairgrounds, experts from the bank will advise visitors on the wide range of financial products and services especially designed for agricultural professionals, in addition to listening directly to the real needs and concerns of the sector.
Among other topics, Unicaja wants to raise awareness again of the importance of having agricultural insurance, the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and the Financial Instrument for Centralized Management (IFGC) of Castilla y León. For this purpose, it has scheduled two conferences at its stand, which will take place on Thursday 4 and Friday 5, and will be given by the heads of the insurance company Caser and the Sociedad Estatal de Caución Agraria (SAECA).
Unicaja is a financial main player bank in Castilla y León, one of its regions of origin, especially in campaigns such as the one corresponding to the direct payment of CAP aids. Precisely, the bank once again provided the possibility of receiving in advance the aid amount with loans under favorable conditions, in addition to advice, management and personalized processing of application files. In total, a line of pre-approved loans of 1,000 million euros was made available for this year.
The commercial effort carried out in Castilla y León, with improvements in the process of subscription at branches, made it possible to grant 50% more loans of this type than in the previous year.
On the other hand, Unicaja continues to collaborate with the Regional Ministry of Agriculture of the Regional Government of Castilla y León in the so-called Financial Instrument, within its new 2023-2027 plan, which serves to provide credit to the agricultural and livestock sector in the region. It is expected that more than 500 million guaranteed loans will be formalized, under competitive conditions, and with a wide variety of terms and purposes.
In short, the bank maintains its commitment to Salamanca's agricultural and livestock entrepreneurs, as agents that contribute to strengthening the economic fabric, population fixation and social development of rural areas.
Therefore, the commitment with Salamaq, one of the most relevant fairs in this sector at national level and to which Unicaja has been linked since its first edition, results evident.
The Exposición Internacional de Ganado Puro y Feria del Sector Agropecuario, which this year celebrates its 36th edition, aims to continue to be a main event at national level and thus meet the expectations of professionals in the sector.
