Unicaja and the University of Granada (UGR) have signed another year of their collaboration agreement under which the bank offers students, during the 2025-2026 academic year, a free line of financing to facilitate the payment of university tuition.
This is the seventh year that Unicaja has made available to the more than 56,800 students of the UGR the Tuition Loan, intended, among other things, to pay this university fee, free of charge.
This agreement, which reinforces the close relationship that both entities have maintained for years, was signed by Unicaja’s regional manager for Eastern Andalusia, Juan Cayuela, and by the rector of the University of Granada, Pedro Mercado.
The agreement is part of Unicaja's support for young people and, in particular, of its interest in promoting and facilitating access to university education as a tool for their future integration into the labor market.
University students will be able to benefit from this product coinciding with the enrollment process.
Support to young people
Unicaja has a complete range of financing specifically designed to promote training, which covers the payment of university tuition, vocational training and special education at official public and private schools, as well as postgraduate master's degrees.
Apart from other actions in support of this population sector, the bank, as evidence of its social commitment, has joined the programs for the granting of guarantees aimed at facilitating the access of young people to their first home ownership.
