Unicaja joins the board of trustees of the Spanish Institute of Analysts Foundation (Fundación del Instituto Español de Analistas), which now reaches 28 organizations. With the incorporation of the bank, through its chairman, José Sevilla, the association, which brings together 1,400 analysts throughout Spain, consolidates a network of leading entities that represent a very significant and solid part of the country's civil, economic and financial society, while reinforcing its commitment to integrating the financial sector into its leadership ecosystem.
The collaboration agreement will allow the financial institution to share with the members of the Spanish Institute of Analysts its knowledge in responsible banking, territorial proximity and promotion of economic development.
Lola Solana, president of the Spanish Institute of Analysts, expressed her satisfaction at the incorporation of Unicaja to the group of trustees of the Foundation, since “adding the knowledge of an entity with the trajectory of Unicaja allows us to reinforce our commitment to training excellence and rigorous analysis, essential pillars for the development of a more informed and responsible society”. She also thanked the bank for its confidence in joining as a new trustee, “at a stage in which the institute continues to expand its network of strategic allies to support analysis professionals”.
For his part, the chairman of Unicaja, José Sevilla, highlighted the bank's incorporation into the board of trustees of the Spanish Institute of Analysts Foundation, emphasizing “the need for in-depth knowledge of the economic and social implications of decisions in the field of finance”. The aim of the financial institution with this collaboration is “to contribute our knowledge of responsible and sustainable banking in order to create long-term value for all stakeholders”.
Among the specific purposes of Fundación del Instituto Español de Analistas, in whose development Unicaja will collaborate, is to promote research and development of financial studies through courses, seminars, conferences and, in general, programs aimed at obtaining the necessary qualifications for the professional practice of financial analysts and investment managers and advisors.
