Unicaja and CREA SGR, the only national mutual guarantee society specialized in culture, sports and leisure, have signed a collaboration agreement to facilitate access to credit and financing for small and medium-sized companies that carry out projects in the audiovisual sector and in the cultural and sports industry.

Unicaja thus joins the financial institutions working with CREA SGR with the aim of contributing to provide liquidity and financing to SMEs in these sectors under the best market conditions.

CREA SGR acts as a specialized interlocutor between the financial institution and SMEs, guaranteeing their projects. During 2023, this SGR formalized 716 transactions, for an amount of 266 million euros, which shows the importance of these sectors in the country's economy as a whole.

The contribution of culture and sports industry to Spain's GDP represents 6%, with more than one million jobs.
