Unicaja and Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias Castilla-La Mancha collaborate one more year in a new aid campaign of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). Thus, farmers and livestock breeders in the region will be able to process the aids easily through Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias and benefit from special financial conditions in Unicaja -such as the advance payment- if they arrange the direct payment of the aid in the bank.

This new agreement, signed by the regional manager of Unicaja, Almudena Noheda, and the head of Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias Castilla-La Mancha, Juan Miguel del Real, guarantees a quality service in the management and advance payment of aids, in addition to meeting the financial needs that farmers and livestock breeders may have.

Thus, the members of the organization who arrange for the payment of their application file with Unicaja will be able to receive the amount of the aid in advance and benefit from the wide range of financial products and services that the entity makes available to them.

Unicaja has allocated around 800 million euros in a line of pre-approved loans, both for the advance payment of aids and to finance the modernization and improvement of farms.

Products y services adapted to the needs of the sector

The bank works constantly to renew and adapt its financial resources to the needs faced by professionals in the sector at all times.

Thus, customers may apply for loans for agricultural investments, to improve the sustainability of their businesses or to finance new crops, in order to support their projects to continue growing and increase their competitiveness. In addition, they can also apply for the advance payment of aids, seasonal loans, harvest advances or advances on agricultural insurance premiums.

Unicaja's commitment to continuous support for farmers is reflected in the provision of financial, protection and advisory services, as well as the development of specific agreements, aware of the importance of being at the side of professionals in the agricultural and livestock sector in order to contribute to the economic boost of Castilla-La Mancha.
