Unicaja Banco and Sogarca collaborate to facilitate credit for SMEs and the self-employed in Cantabria

The agreement includes a complete financing offering, with advantageous conditions, with the aim of helping the self-employed and small and medium-sized companies

Unicaja Banco and Sociedad de Garantía Recíproca de Santander, Sogarca, S.G.R., have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of meeting the financial needs of the self-employed and SMEs in Cantabria.

 

The bank has opened a financing facility for an amount of up to four million euros for the development of operations that have the joint and several guarantee of Sogarca.

 

The agreement was signed at the headquarters of Unicaja Banco in Santander by Luis Manuel Taboada, Regional Director of Commercial Banking North of the financial institution, and Miguel Ángel Díaz, President of Sogarca, with the aim of continuing to collaborate in the development of SMEs and the self-employed in Cantabria.

 

In this sense, the collaboration includes the creation of a specific line of financing for these groups, under advantageous conditions, to boost business initiatives and contribute to the creation and maintenance of jobs.

 

All SMEs and self-employed associates are eligible for the Sogarca SME Line, which is included in the agreement. It includes loans for investment, working capital or equipment leasing, loans for entrepreneurship or industrial growth, as well as credit accounts, with extraordinary conditions of terms and interest rates, with the joint guarantee of the Mutual Guarantee Society.

One of Unicaja Banco’s goals is to collaborate with SMEs and the self-employed by providing them with financial products and services that are essential for the performance of their activities.

 

Companies, in general, and SMEs and the self-employed, in particular, continue to be one of the key objectives of Unicaja Banco's financing policy. In this sense, the bank remains active in providing funding to these groups, which are key to the dynamization of the economy and the creation of employment in Cantabria.

 

One of Sogarca main functions is to provide SMEs in Cantabria with financial information and advice, as well as access to sources of financing under exceptional conditions in terms of interest rates and repayment terms, in order to improve their competitiveness and meet their needs and possibilities, by providing them with a joint and several guarantee
