Unicaja Banco, on the occasion of the Income Tax Campaign (IRPF) 2019, offers one more year the possibility to receive the tax refund in advance or to finance tax bills, especially in the current scenario caused by the Covid-19.

The bank offers the possibility of receiving in advance the refund due by the Tax Agency (Agencia Estatal de Administración Tributaria, AEAT) and of specific loans to fund the amount due to the AEAT in case of positive tax returns.

If the filing results in a tax refund, the Bank allows the customer to receive in advance total or part of the refund, with a 0% nominal interest rate (A.E.R. 4.123% for a 6-month loan of 3,000 euros, A.E.R 13.573% for a 6-month loan of 500 euros), through Renta Fácil Negativa(1), and for an amount of up to 3,000 euros to be repaid by 31 December 2020.

If the taxpayer must pay a tax bill, Unicaja Banco offers a loan through Renta Fácil Positiva, to be repaid in 12 installments.

The Income Tax campaign 2019 will end on 30 June, both for positive and negative tax bills. However, in the case of tax filing with tax amounts payable, if payment is to be made by bank direct debit, it must be paid by 25 June.

Unicaja Banco also offers, through its digital banking, the possibility of filing income tax, as well as splitting the payment or arranging to receive the direct refund. If customers prefer filing their income tax in person, customers can go to their branches.

Unicaja Banco is an institution which collaborates with the Agencia Tributaria and which allows to use the Internet within the service offered to pay taxes to the AEAT. In this line, the Tax Agency offers taxpayers services to prepare and file the income tax via different channels (further information on www.agenciatributaria.es).
