Unicaja and ASAJA Toledo have signed a new agreement under which they will once again work together to improve the financial conditions for farmers and livestock breeders in the province during a new CAP campaign. In addition to providing support and advice on the grant application process, thanks to the experience and professionalism of ASAJA Toledo’s experts, members of the organisation will be able to access advance payments of the aid through Unicaja.

The president of ASAJA Toledo, Blanca Corroto, and the Unicaja Area manager in Toledo, Mariana Palacios, signed the agreement at the organisation’s headquarters in Toledo.

For Blanca Corroto, the agreement “strengthens the collaboration between both organisations with a view to facilitating the processing of CAP aid applications for farmers and livestock breeders in the province, combining ASAJA Toledo’s management and advisory role with the financial benefits offered by Unicaja”.

Mariana Palacios highlighted “the importance of working alongside organisations such as ASAJA Toledo to gauge the needs of farmers and livestock breeders and to offer products and services that provide them with the best solutions on the market”. “The main objective is to make day-to-day life as easy as possible, providing the best financial solutions so that, above all, there is no shortage of liquidity, but also to support growth and increase the sector’s competitiveness.”

As a result, ASAJA Toledo members who submit their application to Unicaja will be able to access the grant amount in advance, as well as benefit from special financial terms.

Loans for €1,000 million

Unicaja is reinforcing its long-standing commitment to the agricultural sector by making €1,000 million in pre-approved financing available to farmers and livestock breeders for this financial year. Through this initiative, the bank is providing these professionals with the necessary liquidity in a streamlined manner to cover routine expenses and ensure the day-to-day operation of thousands of farms.

The financing facilities, in the form of loans and credit accounts, are intended for the 2026 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) campaign and for intensive crops, and aim to provide immediate liquidity to enable them to manage their campaigns with confidence.

In addition, Unicaja also offers farmers, amongst other products, specialised financing for olive groves and vineyards, with specific features designed to meet the needs of these types of crops.
