Unicaja reinforces its commitment to equality and social inclusion by signing an agreement with Fundación Quiero Trabajo, which aims to promote the integration of unemployed women into the labour market.

With this agreement, the bank supports the work of the foundation, which offers personalised training for job interviews, employment advice, mentoring and image services aimed at improving employability.

The bank also reinforces its social commitment and its commitment to equality through active participation in initiatives promoted by Fundación Quiero Trabajo.

The agreement was signed by Unicaja's Head of Communication and Image, Fernando Ríos, and the Head of the Málaga office of Fundación Quiero Trabajo.

Commitment to equality and diversity

Unicaja's support for Fundación Quiero Trabajo is part of its sustainability policy and its commitment and interest in promoting diversity and equal opportunities, especially among groups at risk of social exclusion.

All of this is in line with its model of universal, accessible banking that is close to its customers and employees, placing them at the centre of its strategy, which is one of the main pillars of its current Strategic Plan.

In this regard, the bank has an Equality Plan that promotes both equal opportunities between men and women and improved working conditions, and promotes specific measures that encourage a balanced assumption of responsibilities, as well as favouring a work-life balance for its staff.

Fundación Quiero Trabajo

Fundación Quiero Trabajo is a non-profit organisation made up of a consolidated team of professionals who have been working since 2016 to promote the social and employment inclusion of women at risk of exclusion through the use of practical and emotional tools.

Through its employment advice, coaching, styling and interview preparation services, it has a direct impact on social inclusion. It also offers training and personalised support for job seekers, including mentoring and skills development strategies.

Since 2016, Fundación Quiero Trabajo has supported more than 20,000 people with the help of over 1,000 volunteers from companies and individuals, involving 100 committed companies and 400 collaborating entities, and helping 8 out of 10 women to pass their job interviews.
