Joining the Advisory Board of San Telmo’s Peñarroya Chair of Tourism to improve the competitiveness of the sector

Unicaja joins the Advisory Board of the Peñarroya Chair of Tourism at San Telmo Business School, with the intention of promoting research in relation to the tourism industry and setting strategies for its strengthening.

 

This collaboration reinforces the commitment of both entities to excellence and innovation in the tourism sector at a national level. Likewise, with this support, the financial institution contributes to the support and development of the Chair's training and research activities.

 

The Advisory Board, which Unicaja joined at its annual meeting on Tuesday, held in Malaga, aims to set the lines of research and define the activities to be developed by the Chair, in order to improve and consolidate the tourism industry and its competitiveness.

 

This work is materialized in the development, together with the protagonists of the tourism sector, of those elements that allow them to promote a sustainable and competitive development. In addition, it aims to bring together the main tourism representatives to move forward together towards new development opportunities.

 

By joining the Peñarroya Chair, Unicaja reaffirms its commitment to innovation and sustainability in tourism, joining a space committed to promoting knowledge and innovation in the tourism sector, strengthening the management and leadership of its institutions and sustainable and competitive development.
