Unicaja, as part of its collaboration with the University of Granada (UGR), participates this Wednesday and tomorrow Thursday in the Student Reception Days for the 2025-2026 academic year, organized by the academic institution and which aims to provide information on those services, tools, opportunities, activities and news available to them during the new course.

This initiative, which has been developed for more than three decades at the University of Granada, is organized by the Vice-Rectorate for Students and University Life in the well-known Paseíllos Universitarios. The inauguration took place today, during an event chaired by the rector, Pedro Mercado. On behalf of Unicaja were present the regional manager director and deputy manager of Eastern Andalusia, Juan Cayuela and Modesto Manuel Conde, respectively, and the head of Almeria Poniente and Granada, Manuel Nestor Maldonado.

In this space Unicaja has an exhibitor, where students can obtain information about products and services specially designed for them. This support responds to the interest of the bank to promote and facilitate access to university education, as a tool for their future integration into the labor market.

An example of this is the agreement that Unicaja and the University of Granada renewed last June, under which the bank offers students a free line of financing to facilitate the payment of university tuition.

As for the Student Reception Days for the 2025-2026 academic year, they feature more than 55 stands, where students, especially new students, have access to the institutional, cultural, associative and service offerings provided by the UGR.

In addition to the activities provided by the different exhibitors, this edition includes a DJ session of the MUAC FESTIVAL, which takes place this Wednesday.

Unicaja: support for young people

For Unicaja, young people have a special relevance. Therefore, this segment has a specific strategy and the bank has made available a wide range of products to respond to every stage of their lives, from their training to the beginning of their personal and professional projects.

Within this framework, the financial institution aspires to consolidate its position as the main bank for the young segment, combining financial solutions for day-to-day life with advantages and experiences that provide added value.
