Unicaja has reached an agreement with Ayvens España, a company specialising in mobility and sustainability, to offer its customers a comprehensive vehicle renting service aimed at private individuals, the self-employed and businesses. The partnership expands the financial institution’s mobility offering with a flexible, fixed-fee solution featuring a 100% digital contract process, tailored to different profiles and usage needs.
The offering includes more than 500 vehicles from over 30 makes, with contract terms ranging from 36 to 72 months. Customers can browse the various options available, access specific promotions or carry out a personalised simulation. The platform allows users to configure details such as the vehicle, the contract duration or the mileage and obtain an up-to-date quote online.
Specifically, Unicaja handles the marketing, whilst Ayvens manages the contract processing, transaction analysis, vehicle management and the provision of associated services.
The advantages of renting include having a vehicle available on a long-term basis without the need for an initial outlay, through the payment of a fixed and predictable monthly instalment which, depending on the chosen plan, includes the main services associated with its use.
These include maintenance and repairs, tire replacement, insurance in accordance with the chosen package, handling of the MOT and tax payments, breakdown assistance and administrative tasks relating to the vehicle.
This solution makes it easier to plan and control mobility-related expenses, whether for private customers, the self-employed or businesses, whilst also simplifying vehicle management throughout the term of the contract.
Digital sign-up and tailored solutions.
The sign-up process is carried out entirely online. The customer enters their details on the Ayvens platform – one of the market’s leading providers of sustainable mobility solutions – and selects the option that best suits their needs.
They can then submit their application, which is reviewed by Ayvens; once approved, the signing of the contract and the handover of the vehicle are arranged.
Support for private individuals, the self-employed and businesses
By introducing a fully digital contracting experience, Unicaja is strengthening its value proposition and its strategy of supporting customers through a comprehensive range of financial and non-financial products and services tailored to their different needs.
This initiative is in line with Unicaja’s 2025–2027 Strategic Plan, which aims to promote an omnichannel offering designed to improve the customer experience, advance digital transformation and support individuals and businesses with their various needs.
Santiago Casanova, Unicaja’s head of SMEs, Business and Corporate Products, emphasised that “this partnership enables us to continue expanding our value proposition and to provide our customers with solutions that meet their needs beyond traditional financial services”.
In this regard, he stated that “renting is a flexible and straightforward alternative for managing mobility and, thanks to our collaboration with Ayvens, we are facilitating access to a digital offering tailored to individuals, the self-employed and businesses”. “With initiatives such as this, we are reinforcing our commitment to supporting our customers in their business activities and day-to-day decisions,” he added.
For her part, the managing director of Ayvens Spain, Clara Santos, noted that “this agreement enables us to give new impetus to our partnership with Unicaja and bring our leasing solutions to an even greater number of customers”.
“The combination of a network of over 900 branches, the development of our digital channel and our expertise in mobility will enable us to offer businesses, the self-employed and private individuals solutions tailored to their needs and make leasing increasingly accessible,” she said.
