Unicaja’s headquarters hosted a new edition of the Human Resources Forum on Thursday, bringing together HR professionals and experts to discuss the key challenges facing today’s labour market.
Under the theme “AI, Culture and Organisational Longevity: Building Companies Ready for the Present and the Future”, the event explored topics related to digitalisation, leadership in changing environments and talent management in increasingly diverse organisations.
The programme was structured around four sessions focusing on the impact of artificial intelligence on workplace relations, the evolution of leadership and talent management in digital environments, multigenerational workforces, and pay transparency.
The opening session featured remarks by Unicaja’s General Manager for People, Organisation and Legal Affairs, Juan Medina, and Francisco García, Founder and CEO of the Human Resources Forum.
Among the speakers, María José Horcajadas, Unicaja’s Head of Occupational Health, Wellbeing and Diversity, took part in a panel discussion on leadership and talent in the age of artificial intelligence, examining the implications of these changes for workplace models and team management.
The event concluded with the presentation of the Human Resources Forum Málaga 2026 Awards and a networking session for attendees.
In addition to Unicaja, the forum was supported by a number of organisations and companies, including Workday, DKV, Way & Sat Executive Search, Andersen, Talentia Software, Refruiting, OpenHR, Fetico and foRHum.
Unicaja’s participation in the forum forms part of its collaboration with initiatives aimed at analysing developments in employment and people management in a context shaped by technological transformation. Hosting the event at its headquarters also helped strengthen Málaga’s position as a meeting point for business dialogue and debate.
