Unicaja, as part of its agreement with Caser (Helvetia Group), has launched a promotion aimed at the subscription of home insurance (not linked to loans and on an annual renewable basis), motor insurance (excluding fleet cover) and health insurance (for the Salud Integral and Integral PRO products), with direct financial incentives linked to the number of policies taken out.
The offer includes a bonus of 75 euros for each policy taken out, plus an additional 125 euros from the second policy onwards1. Thus, taking out three policies together, for example, can result in a total bonus of 325 euros.
The campaign will run until 30 September and is subject to the conditions of a minimum total annual premium of 300 euros per policy and the policyholder not having held insurance with Caser in the previous six months. Policies with deferred effect until December 2026 are also included.
At the same time, health insurance policies feature a specific promotion, also valid until 30 September, offering discounts of up to 30 per cent on premiums for new policies2, as well as additional reductions depending on the number of insured persons.
Furthermore, customers enrolled in the Caser Loyalty Programme3 can benefit from discounts on new policies across various lines of cover — including motor, business, dental, home, SMEs, public liability and health — depending on their programme tier: up to 10 per cent at Platinum level, up to 8 per cent at Gold level and up to 6 per cent at Silver level.
Insurance for comprehensive protection
Unicaja offers a wide and comprehensive range of insurance products designed to guarantee comprehensive protection for its customers.
Home insurance tailors its cover to the use of the property and the customer’s needs, whether they are a homeowner (in a primary or secondary residence) or a tenant, including standard cover such as water damage, civil liability and home assistance, and allows for the inclusion of additional cover such as Amayores, Todo Riesgo Material, civil liability for dogs4, or cover for motor vehicles and pleasure craft.
Meanwhile, car insurance stands out for its competitive positioning and includes optional value-added cover, such as ‘Coche x Coche’, which, in the event of a total loss under third-party cover, provides a replacement vehicle of similar specifications for cars up to 20 years old5, or ‘Autohelp’, an app-based service capable of detecting accidents and automatically dispatching an ambulance to the scene of the accident6.
In health insurance, the company offers a portfolio tailored to different customer profiles (families, the self-employed, personal and private banking clients, and senior citizens) and varying healthcare needs, ranging from medical services and diagnostic tests to comprehensive cover including hospitalisation.
Plan Uni Seguro
With the aim of tailoring Unicaja’s insurance offering to its customers’ needs, the bank offers the Uni Seguro Plan7, which allows customers to bundle and spread their premium payments8, with discounts — 6 per cent on Caser home, health and motor insurance, and 10 per cent on Unicorp Vida life and accident insurance — alongside associated services such as access to health and wellbeing benefits, dental vouchers and tools to help personalise treatment plans.
With this suite of initiatives, Unicaja provides a comprehensive protection framework featuring high-value cover, benefits and services tailored to the specific needs of each customer.
Insurance products arranged with CASER, Compañía de Seguros y Reaseguros, S.A., through Unicaja Mediación, S.L.U., a tied bancassurance operator registered with the Special Administrative Register of Insurance Distributors of the Directorate-General for Insurance and Pension Funds under registration number OV-0010, acting through the branch network of Unicaja Banco, S.A. Professional indemnity insurance has been arranged in accordance with applicable legislation. Information on the insurance companies with which Unicaja Mediación, S.L.U. has agency agreements can be found at www.unicajabanco.es/seguros. Insurance cover is subject to the General and Specific Terms and Conditions of each policy.
(1) Between 23 April and 30 September 2026 (both inclusive), customers taking out any of the following Caser insurance products through Unicaja Mediación, S.L.U., the tied bancassurance operator of Unicaja Banco, will be eligible for a promotional cash incentive: annual renewable home insurance, car insurance, motorbike insurance, health insurance, or Comprehensive Insurance for individuals, self-employed professionals and SMEs (Integral PRO), provided the total annual premium is €300 or more. The incentive will be €75 for the first new policy contracted. If two or more eligible policies are taken out, the first policy will receive a €75 incentive and each additional policy will receive €125. The policyholder’s mobile telephone number must be included on the policy. Replacements, amendments or upgrades of existing policies, as well as new policies taking effect after 31 December 2026, are not eligible. In the event of force majeure, Caser reserves the right to replace the incentive with another of similar characteristics. Full terms and conditions are available at Unicaja Banco branches.
(2) A 30% discount, already applied in quotations, is available for new Health Integral and Health Integral PRO policies taken out between 2 May and 30 September 2026, with an effective date no later than 1 October 2026, provided the customer has not been insured under a Caser health insurance policy during the six months prior to contracting the cover.
(3) Caser’s loyalty programme is available to policyholders holding one or more insurance policies and one claim per policy per year. Benefits include discounts of between 6% and 10% on new policies, service-quality commitments and compensation where those commitments are not met.
(4) These conditions apply exclusively to policies covering primary residences that include contents insurance. Dogs belonging to breeds classified as potentially dangerous require either a specific insurance policy or the optional cover available under Home Protection Insurance.
(5) Applicable exclusively to Third-Party Liability policies that include the “Car for Car” cover. Eligibility is limited to vehicles up to 20 years old from first registration or with a market value exceeding €2,000 at the time of the claim. Compensation will consist of replacement with a vehicle of similar characteristics or, where such a vehicle cannot be sourced, payment of the vehicle’s market value at the time of the loss plus an additional 20%. The compensation alternatives available under the supplementary “Car for Car” cover may alter the policyholder’s asset position and could therefore have tax implications for Personal Income Tax purposes, estimated as the difference between the acquisition cost of the vehicle declared a total loss and the value of the compensation received.
(6) If a potential accident is detected, Caser will contact the insured by telephone to assess their condition and provide assistance as quickly as possible where required. If the insured does not answer their mobile phone after three calls, Caser will activate its operating procedures to provide the necessary assistance.
(7) Credit facility available to consumer individuals exclusively for the payment of insurance premiums. Conditions valid until 31 January 2027. Nominal annual interest rate: 0.00%. APR: 0.00%. Representative example: a Plan Uni Seguro credit facility of €1,500, fully drawn down on the first day of the agreement and repaid over 12 months through fixed monthly instalments. The customer would pay 12 monthly instalments of €125, with a total amount payable of €1,500. This example assumes no further drawdowns under the Plan Uni Seguro credit line and no payment incidents during the period. Multi-year or single-premium policies may be financed over 12 months or for the duration of the single-premium period, up to a maximum of 36 months.
(8) Annual renewable, multi-year or single-premium insurance policies issued by Unicorp Vida (accident or term life insurance), Caser (motor, health, dental, home multi-risk, payment protection, pet, hunter, comprehensive rental protection, funeral or accident insurance), Santa Lucía (funeral insurance) and/or Unión Duero Vida (term life insurance), and arranged through Unicaja Mediación, S.L.U., a tied bancassurance operator registered with the Special Administrative Register of Insurance Distributors of the Directorate-General for Insurance and Pension Funds under registration number OV-0010, acting through the branch network of Unicaja Banco, S.A. Professional indemnity insurance has been arranged in accordance with applicable legislation. Information on the insurance companies with which Unicaja Mediación, S.L.U. has agency agreements can be found at www.unicajabanco.es/seguros. Insurance cover is subject to the General and Specific Terms and Conditions of the policies contracted.
