Unicaja held an information session in Almendralejo (Badajoz) on Thursday aimed at providing businesses with the key insights and tools needed to support their international expansion.

The session was delivered by Unicaja’s Head of International Business, Roberto Carrasco, who outlined the various support solutions available to drive international growth, as well as the opportunities that the current economic environment offers for export activity.

The event, organised by the Almendralejo Business Association (CEAL) in collaboration with the Badajoz Chamber of Commerce, forms part of the partnership agreement between Unicaja and the Chamber aimed at fostering the development of Extremadura’s business community.

In this regard, Unicaja places companies, SMEs and self-employed professionals at the heart of its growth strategy and commitment to supporting the real economy.

In recent years, the bank has strengthened its specialised service model for both large corporations — through its new ‘Unicaja Empresas’ brand — and SMEs and self-employed professionals, promoting a relationship-based banking approach tailored to each client’s needs and backed by expertise in international business.

The bank also maintains a strong commitment to economic development and job creation across the regions in which it operates. In this case, it continues to support the needs of businesses and professionals in Badajoz and throughout Extremadura, a region with deep roots in the institution’s history.
