Unicaja has been recognised in the 25th edition of the 2026 AECA Business Transparency Awards with a special mention in the “IBEX 35 – Most Significant Improvement Compared with the Previous Edition” category. The award, granted by the Spanish Association of Accounting and Business Administration (AECA), acknowledges the bank’s progress in the quality of its corporate reporting and governance practices.

The distinction was received by Unicaja’s Head of Accounting and Corporate Reporting, Julián Muñoz, during the annual awards ceremony.

For the bank, this recognition reflects its ongoing commitment to enhancing the clarity, consistency and accessibility of the information it provides to shareholders, investors, customers, regulators and society as a whole.
