Unicaja and the Gijón Chamber of Commerce have formalised a collaboration agreement with the aim of supporting the development of businesses, self-employed individuals and professionals associated with the Chamber, through access to a range of financial products and services specifically designed to support their activities and growth plans.
Under this agreement, Unicaja is making available to businesses in the region a range of solutions focused on financing, liquidity and investment, as well as tools designed to improve business management and enhance business competitiveness.
The offering includes, amongst other areas, options to optimise financial costs, improve payment methods and advance the digitalisation of businesses, as well as facilitating access to funding linked to European funds, in accordance with the regulations and eligibility criteria applicable in each case.
The agreement was signed by Unicaja’s regional manager for North, Iñaki Pradera, and the president of the Gijón Chamber of Commerce, Félix Baragaño.
Speaking on behalf of Unicaja, Iñaki Pradera emphasised that this collaboration strengthens “the relationship that both organisations have maintained for years” and enables them to “continue supporting the business community through financial solutions tailored to every stage of their activity”.
“As an institution with strong local ties, we stand alongside businesses and the self-employed both in their day-to-day operations and in the development of new projects, contributing to the economic growth of areas with which we have a special connection, such as Gijón and Asturias,” he added.
For his part, Félix Baragaño highlighted the importance of agreements of this nature, as they facilitate business management, and placed particular emphasis on Unicaja’s ongoing collaboration with the Gijón Chamber of Commerce, actively participating both in the Trade Fair Consortium and in the Asturias International Trade Fair itself, as well as in other unique projects aimed at promoting training and entrepreneurship.
