Unicaja will collaborate with la Federación Empresarial de Ciudad Real, FECIR CEOE-CEPYME, to improve the financial conditions of its members, as well as those of the organisation itself and its employees. This is set out in the agreement signed between the two organisations, which will enable them, through joint efforts, to continue supporting the development of the province’s business sector.

Unicaja’s regional manager for Castilla-La Mancha, Almudena Noheda, and the president of FECIR, Carlos Marín, signed the agreement, alongside the bank’s area manager in Ciudad Real, Rocío Villa, and the general secretary of the business organisation, David Plaza.

Almudena Noheda emphasised that “Unicaja makes available to businesses in the province all the financial resources and services needed to undertake projects that will enable them to continue developing their activities, with a commitment to innovation and the sustainable growth of their businesses”. “We are aware of the enormous business potential that Ciudad Real has and we are committed to its development by acting as a financial support and catalyst to help them continue to prosper,” she added.

For his part, Carlos Marín highlighted Unicaja’s sensitivity and responsiveness to the needs, challenges and projects currently faced by entrepreneurs and the self-employed in the province: “With this important agreement, we are once again offering a better and more comprehensive service to businesses, SMEs and the self-employed, who are not currently doing well, and who, thanks to agreements such as the one we have signed, can continue to generate wealth and employment in Ciudad Real”.

Unicaja is making available to FECIR and its members a comprehensive financial service tailored to their needs, with products on special terms to support and enhance the development of their operations and activities. In this regard, the various financing options are particularly noteworthy, aimed at continuing to promote investment, encourage foreign trade and support the expansion and development of strategic projects within the business sector of the province of Ciudad Real.

In addition, they will have access to international financing, guarantees, Next Generation funds, equipment leasing or vehicle hire purchase, amongst others. They will also have at their disposal dedicated digital banking and financial resources such as accounts, collection and payment management, insurance or pension plans.

Both FECIR employees and those of its members will also be able to benefit from special terms on the organisation’s products and services, such as accounts, financing, payment methods, pension plans or insurance.

Businesses and SMEs at the heart of the strategy

FECIR represents more than 12,500 business owners and self-employed individuals across the province of Ciudad Real and virtually all business sectors, through the 37 member associations, federations and/or sections of business owners and/or self-employed individuals.

For Unicaja, businesses in general, and SMEs in particular, are key groups in its financing policy, as set out in its 2025–2027 Strategic Plan. Consequently, it works to offer business owners, the self-employed and entrepreneurs, through an omnichannel service, the financial solutions best suited to their needs to support and improve the management and day-to-day operations of their businesses.

In this regard, it has also strengthened its non-financial services, which, through partnerships with leading firms in their respective sectors, are made available to the self-employed and SMEs. Indeed, to enhance the effectiveness of these agreements and the benefits they bring to this customer segment, the bank has brought these exclusive professional solutions together in a single section on its commercial website, called ‘SolucionaT’.
