Unicaja is once again making financing solutions available to its customers for the 2025 Personal Income Tax (IRPF) campaign. The bank is offering specific1 loans to cover the tax bill in the event of a positive balance, as well as the option to receive an advance 2 on the refund in the event of a negative balance, with the amount to be received from the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) being paid in advance.
As a partner of the Tax Agency, Unicaja also facilitates tax payments via the internet as part of its online service, enabling these procedures to be carried out quickly and securely.
These solutions form part of the Income and Wealth Tax Campaign for the 2025 tax year, which began on 8 April with the submission of tax returns online and will run until 30 June. The deadline for tax bills resulting in tax liability and direct debit payments is 25 June.
Income Tax Return Support Services
Unicaja customers can access the services of the TaxDown tax management technology platform via the bank’s website, specifically in the ‘beneficiaT’ section, under the partnership agreement between the two organisations.
This partnership allows customers to benefit from the support of tax experts for the preparation and submission of their tax returns. TaxDown, a social partner of the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT), has a tax engine based on its own algorithms, as well as a team specialising in tax advice.
Savings and tax planning
Furthermore, Unicaja also offers a wide range of pension plans tailored to different needs, depending on the customer’s age or their commitment to sustainability. These products enable customers to optimise long-term savings with tax advantages, as the contributions made reduce the income tax base.
With this offer, Unicaja reaffirms its commitment to its customers, providing financial solutions that help them manage their tax obligations and plan for their financial future.
Deadlines
In addition to online filing, the Tax Agency will provide telephone assistance with the preparation and submission of tax returns between 6 May and 30 June. In-person assistance at AEAT offices will be available from 1 to 30 June. For further information, taxpayers can visit the AEAT website.
