Boosting youth positioning: promotion aimed at new customers, with 90 euros in experiences and gift cards

Unicaja is strengthening its commitment to young people with a promotion aimed at new young customers, allowing them to receive €90 in credits to redeem, over a three-month period, for experiences and gift cards from leading brands.

 

This offer, limited to the first 10,000 young people aged between 18 and 27 who meet the requirements, forms part of the ‘This is Uni’ campaign and aims to provide immediate and flexible benefits tailored to their real interests, such as leisure, education, wellbeing, transport and digital consumption. To access this campaign, the only requirements are to activate Bizum and apply for the benefit via Digital Banking, in the ‘Prizes and Promotions’ (‘Sorteos y Promociones’) section, or at a branch.

 

In this way, new customers will receive €30 per month to redeem at www.viviralouni.com for experiences such as dining out, leisure activities, wellness or classes to develop skills and languages. They can also be redeemed for gift cards (worth €10 per card), acquired through authorised retailers, and redeemable at Apple, Amazon, Cinesa, MediaMarkt, PlayStation, Adidas, Nike or Casa del Libro. Customers can enjoy these experiences until 15 October 2026.

 

 

Additional benefits: Bizum, discounts and fee-free mobility

 

The promotion is complemented by an additional benefit for new customers who activate Bizum and use it for online purchases until 31 December: a 5% cashback on purchases made, up to a maximum of €120 gross per customer over six months.

 

In addition, new young Unicaja customers will have access to discounts and benefits at over 120 brands through the Euro 6000 Plus programme, as well as exclusive benefits at IKEA, Leroy Merlin, MásMóvil and Octopus Energy.

 

Added to this is the Youth Debit Card, with no issuance or maintenance fees, offering a refund of fees on in-store purchases in any currency, along with three free withdrawals per month from overseas ATMs, where Unicaja does not charge fees. All of this is integrated into a user-friendly app available 24/7, allowing users to manage Bizum, monitor spending in real time, manage cards and plan savings from anywhere.

 

 

This is Uni: a comprehensive offering for the youth segment

 

Under the name ‘This is Uni’, Unicaja is consolidating its comprehensive offering to support young people in their early financial stages, from their education through to the start of their personal and professional projects.

 

The bank offers finance products for studies, loans for personal projects and specific terms to help young people buy their first home. 

 

 

 

1. Promotion valid for the first 10,000 new Unicaja customers between 18 and 27 years old who meet the conditions, from February 20 to May 20, 2026. New customers are defined as those who have not had any Unicaja product or service in the last 12 months, in any form. The in-kind incentive, valued at €90, will be delivered to the customer over 3 months at €30 per month. This incentive is non-refundable in cash. 3. This promotion is valid for new Bizum users at Unicaja until December 31, 2026, for purchases made with Bizum at online stores during the 6 months following enrollment in the promotion. A 5% cashback will be given on each transaction, with a maximum limit of €20 gross per month, up to a total of €120 gross over 6 months (the maximum net monthly bonus will be €16.20 and the maximum total net bonus during the promotion will be €97.20). Cancelled or returned purchases will not be included. The credit to the customer's account for this campaign incentive is subject to taxation and is classified as investment income under Article 25.2 of Law 35/2006 on Personal Income Tax (IRPF).
