Unicaja and Asociación Agraria Jóvenes Agricultores (ASAJA) of Albacete are once again collaborating in a new CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) campaign to help farmers and livestock breeders in the province with the procedures for applying for CAP aid, as well as advance payments of the subsidy from the financial institution.
Unicaja’s area manager in Albacete, Emilio Jesús Valenciano, and the president of ASAJA Albacete, Jorge Navarro González, have signed an agreement under which both organisations will collaborate on a new CAP campaign, guaranteeing a quality service in the management and advance payment of subsidies, as well as attending to the financial needs of farmers and livestock breeders.
In this way, applicants will be able to process their aid through ASAJA Albacete, taking advantage of all the resources and technical staff available to the organisation to easily resolve the procedures and management of the subsidy.
In addition, members who register their application file with Unicaja will be able to receive the aid amount in advance, as well as benefit from special financial conditions.
"The aim is to offer liquidity to farmers and livestock breeders so that they can access this aid in advance," said Emilio Jesús Valenciano. "At Unicaja," he added, "we have the resources and specialised staff to work in a personalised way, adapting to the needs of each client, with the aim of improving their financial conditions, facilitating their growth and increasing their competitiveness in a sector in constant transformation."
For his part, the president of ASAJA Albacete, Jorge Navarro González, stressed that "as in every campaign, ASAJA Albacete has an extraordinary team of professionals with extensive experience in processing CAP aid, who keep a close eye on the files throughout the year to ensure that they comply with current regulations and can receive payment on the specified date."
Pre-approved financing of 1,000 million euros
Unicaja has made 1,000 million euros in pre-approved financing available to farmers and livestock breeders for this financial year. With this initiative, the bank provides these professionals with the liquidity they need to meet their regular expenses and ensure the daily operation of thousands of farms. The financing lines, in the form of loans and credit accounts, are intended for the 2026 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) campaign and intensive crops.
Unicaja's collaboration with organisations such as ASAJA Albacete allows it to gain first-hand knowledge of the needs of farmers and livestock breeders in order to offer them the best solutions and the most appropriate financial tools to get the most out of their work.
ASAJA Albacete is the most representative agricultural association in the agricultural and livestock sector in the province of Albacete, with several local offices throughout the province (Albacete, Almansa, Casas Ibáñez, La Gineta, Villamalea and Villarrobledo), as well as being represented in all the municipalities of the province.
