Unicaja and CoínEmprende, the Association of Young Entrepreneurs and Professionals of Coín and the surrounding area, have signed a new collaboration agreement with the aim of supporting and strengthening the activity of the local business community.

With this alliance, both entities will launch initiatives aimed at facilitating access to financing, offering specialised advice and promoting the growth of the more than 200 members of this business association.

CoínEmprende thus joins the agreement signed between Unicaja and the Malaga Confederation of Business Owners (CEM) to promote business in the province.

The new agreement, which underlines the close relationship between the two entities, has been signed by the head of Unicaja Málaga Costa, Francisco Javier Prieto, and, on behalf of CoínEmprende, its manager, Mariló Agua.

The financial institution thus offers this association a comprehensive service with favourable conditions tailored to its specific needs. Among the bank's objectives are to promote and facilitate economic development in its area of activity, specifically in Coín and the Guadalhorce Valley.

The head of Unicaja Málaga Costa emphasised that "the business and commercial fabric is one of the main drivers of the economy in Coín and the province of Málaga, generating employment, boosting productive activity and strengthening social cohesion in the region". "The strength of its SMEs, self-employed workers and local businesses not only drives economic growth, but also helps to stabilise the population and consolidate a model of sustainable and local development," he said.

In this context, Prieto stressed that "Unicaja's commitment to Coín and its surroundings is firm and ongoing". "Our goal," he said, "is to support business owners with financial solutions tailored to their needs, facilitating investment, modernisation and job creation, because supporting the local productive fabric means investing in the future and prosperity of our region".

For her part, the manager of CoínEmprende highlighted the work of the association: "it is very important for our companies, as it acts as a tool that facilitates and promotes the development of their productive fabric as an engine of local growth".

"One of our main objectives is to accompany professionals, companies and entrepreneurs during the arduous process that goes from having a business idea to its materialisation in the current context, providing the necessary resources and information to ensure that this journey reaches a successful conclusion," said Agua.

Wide range of products

In this regard, Unicaja offers these business owners, who are at the centre of its strategy, both through its online channel and its branches, a wide range of financial and non-financial products and services to promote and improve the development of their management and daily activities.

For its part, CoínEmprende, with more than 30 years of activity and experience, is a non-profit association made up of professionals from all sectors, whose mission is to strengthen, promote and develop the business fabric of Coín and its area.

Its main objectives include representing, managing, defending and promoting the interests of its members, fostering a spirit of association and establishing services of common interest, while also working to raise awareness in society of the need to promote sustainable business development.
