Next week, Unicaja will hold a new edition of its internal conferences, where the bank's senior management will meet with the operational and business network teams to share the progress of the main lines of the 2025-2027 Strategic Plan in its first year of implementation.
These meetings will bring together professionals from all the bank's areas of operation and will be attended by the chairman, José Sevilla, and the CEO, Isidro Rubiales, together with those responsible for key areas for the development of the Plan.
The meetings will take place, in this order, in Oviedo, Valladolid, Cáceres and Seville, and will serve to share with the commercial network the progress made in this first year of the Plan, a roadmap that focuses on digital transformation, improving the experience for customers and employees, and sustainable business growth in both the retail and corporate sectors.
These meetings are a continuation of those held in 2025 in four other provinces and respond to the objective of aligning commercial activity with the bank's strategic priorities in this second year of the Plan's implementation. In this context, the results achieved to date will be highlighted, both in terms of the evolution of results and the strengthening of commercial activity and the organisation's capabilities.
The chairman of Unicaja, José Sevilla, pointed out that "the 2025-2027 Strategic Plan is enabling us to move forward with a clear, realistic roadmap geared towards the bank's sustainable growth. Sharing this process with the professionals in the commercial network is key to consolidating a common project that strengthens our position in the territories and lays the foundations for a more solid and competitive Unicaja".
For his part, Unicaja CEO Isidro Rubiales stressed that "this first year of the Plan is proving key to strengthening our commercial capabilities, improving our value proposition and advancing in efficiency. The sessions with the business teams allow us to align priorities and accelerate the implementation of initiatives that should drive growth, both in retail banking and in corporate banking."
With this initiative, Unicaja reaffirms its commitment to direct and close communication with its teams as a fundamental lever for continuing to advance in the execution of the Strategic Plan, which places people, customers and territories at the centre of its actions.
Strategic Plan 2025-2027
Unicaja's Strategic Plan 2025-2027 aims to consolidate the institution as a universal bank that is close and open to all, driving sustained profitability and building capabilities to ensure a bank of the future with leadership in its home territories.
In short, the institution has set itself the objectives of transforming retail banking, building a Unicaja brand experience and positioning itself as the main bank for its customers. And, in the business sphere, business growth, a better experience and the expansion of the product catalogue.
