Unicaja has set up a special 0% interest financing line (0% APR) to support those affected in Andalusia, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura by the floods caused by the storms between December 2025 and early 2026. The bank is considering extending this measure to other areas of the country that have also suffered significant damage.
The heavy rains and windstorms have caused significant damage to infrastructure, homes, farms, local businesses and other personal property.
Unicaja, with the aim of contributing to the fastest possible recovery, has designed this line of credit to finance the reconstruction, restoration, repair and acquisition of affected property. It also offers victims the possibility of receiving advance payment of compensation from insurance companies.
Information and advice
Those affected can apply for preferential financing at any Unicaja branch, where they will receive specialised attention and advice. The bank also provides its customers with all the information they need to facilitate the necessary procedures.
This initiative is part of Unicaja's ongoing support for the territories in which it operates and its desire to promote and facilitate economic and social development, with special attention to areas affected by natural disasters, in line with its sustainability policy.
