Unicaja and the Asociación de Empresarios de Vélez-Málaga (ACEV) have renewed their alliance with the aim of offering financial support to Vélez-Málaga business owners and thus contributing to the promotion of local development. The new agreement will benefit the more than 300 members of this organization.
ACEV thus joins the agreement signed by Unicaja and the Confederation of Malaga Business Owners (CEM) to support the business sector in Málaga.
The agreement was signed by the head of Unicaja's Málaga Centro Oriental, Marisol Pérez Gavilán, and the president of ACEV, José Antonio González González, who agreed on the importance of the close collaboration that both institutions have maintained for years with the aim of promoting business activity in the area, facilitating access to tailored financial services, and promoting collaborative actions that benefit local commerce.
The head of Unicaja's Málaga Centro Oriental emphasized that the bank “facilitates access to financing, offers specialized advice, and provides solutions tailored to the needs of these professionals.”
“This collaboration seeks to boost the economic activity in Vélez-Málaga, promote job creation, and contribute to sustainable business growth, especially in key sectors for the development of the Axarquía region,” said Pérez Gavilán, who highlighted the work carried out by ACEV.
The president of this association indicated that “Unicaja's support is essential for the development of business activity in the region, as it allows many companies and self-employed workers to grow, innovate, and generate employment.”
In this regard, José Antonio González stated that “having the backing of a financial institution committed to the local productive fabric such as Unicaja gives us stability and confidence to continue developing our activity, take on new projects, and contribute to the economic and social progress of Vélez-Málaga and its surroundings.”
Support to the Axarquia region
Specifically, with the customer at the center of its strategy, Unicaja offers ACEV members a comprehensive financial service with favorable conditions, aimed at promoting and facilitating the development of their activity and strengthening this town and the Axarquía region.
ACEV was created in 1987 by a group of business owners with common concerns and needs. Over the years, it has continued to work to revitalize local and regional trade thanks to its multi-sector nature. In fact, it has the largest network of entrepreneurs in the Axarquía region.
The association works to promote innovation and development, entrepreneurs and independent professionals, and new technologies, but without ever forgetting small traditional businesses.
