Unicaja has strengthened its support for the Antequera business community through a collaboration agreement with the Asociación del Comercio, Empresas e Industria de Antequera (ACIA) y Centro Comercial Abierto (CCA), which will benefit more than 200 SMEs and self-employed workers. This initiative aims to boost local economic activity, facilitate access to financing and offer solutions tailored to the needs of member businesses, thereby contributing to the strengthening and development of businesses in the region.
ACIA thus joins the agreement signed by Unicaja and the Malaga Confederation of Business Owners (CEM) to support the Malaga business sector and help strengthen the liquidity of companies in their daily activities.
This support translates into the provision of a comprehensive financial service with favourable conditions for the association's members. The agreement reinforces the close relationship that has existed for two decades between the two institutions and has been signed by the head of Unicaja's Málaga Interior, Manuel Artacho, and the president of ACIA, Jorge del Pino.
Under this agreement, Unicaja offers companies in Antequera financial products and services on advantageous terms to meet their needs, encourage investment and support the expansion and development of strategic projects.
Support for SMEs
Businesses in general, and SMEs in particular, continue to be one of the key objectives of Unicaja's financing policy. For this reason, it remains active in financing initiatives in this segment, which is crucial for boosting the economy and creating jobs.
As the bank’s head of Málaga Interior pointed out, "this collaboration is part of Unicaja's interest in promoting the business fabric, facilitating economic growth and supporting employment in the municipality of Antequera in Málaga".
On this point, Artacho highlighted "the key role played by business owners and entrepreneurs in the economic and social development of the region and, therefore, ACIA and CCA", while emphasising "Unicaja's interest in supporting initiatives that promote innovation, employment and competitiveness". To this end, he specified that "the bank offers financing and advisory solutions tailored to their needs with the aim of contributing to sustainable growth and strengthening the local economy."
For his part, the president of ACIA stated that "the aim of signing this agreement is to facilitate financing for companies based in Antequera and its region, with the aim of continuing to promote investment, encouraging foreign trade and supporting the expansion and development of strategic projects in the Antequera business sector".
"At ACIA and CCA in Antequera, we believe that the renewal of this alliance lays a solid foundation for the financing of our companies, promoting the revitalisation of the local economy and job creation," said Del Pino.
ACIA is a local non-profit professional and business organisation that has been operating for more than four decades. Its objectives include representing, defending and promoting the best conditions for the economic, social and professional development of its members; maintaining cooperative relationships between them in order to achieve better management; stimulating commercial relations between traders and industrialists in the municipality in order to promote joint actions; and increasing the objectives of the entity's various sectors.
