Unicaja is once again collaborating with the 'Empresas con Corazón' programme run by Cáritas Diocesana de Toledo, contributing to the payment of utilities, rent and medicines for the people supported by Cáritas. This support was confirmed during a meeting between the Unicaja area manager in Toledo, Mariana Palacios Hervas, the secretary general of Cáritas Diocesana de Toledo, Mónica Moreno Alonso, and the head of the Empresas con Corazón programme, Marisa Martínez Moreno.
This week, Unicaja formalised the renewal of the agreement that it has been implementing for years in the various initiatives organised by Caritas to help the more than 13,000 people who benefit from its social action.
The secretary general of Cáritas Diocesana de Toledo highlighted the bank's commitment to "collaborating in our actions, providing its help to alleviate the needs of families in this difficult year".
For her part, Mariana Palacios from Unicaja thanked the organisation for the important work it does and conveyed "the financial institution's willingness to support initiatives such as Empresas con Corazón that help to improve people's quality of life".
Unicaja will also facilitate the dissemination of joint projects and the activities of Cáritas Diocesana de Toledo on a regular basis through its own communication and dissemination channels, encouraging its employees to collaborate in the actions promoted by the organisation.
