The 'Virgen de las Viñas' Cultural Competition, organised by the cooperative of the same name in Tomelloso (Ciudad Real), once again has Unicaja as one of its collaborators. The institution wanted to support this cooperative in its firm commitment to culture and art.
The agreement renewing this collaboration, aimed at the 24th edition of the Cultural Competition, was signed at the Cooperative's headquarters in Tomelloso by the president of Virgen de las Viñas Bodega y Almazara, Rafael Torres, and the head of Unicaja Companies in Ciudad Real, Pedro Bachiller.
The 'Virgen de las Viñas' Cultural Competition is one of the most important in Spain in terms of the number of works submitted and the prize money awarded. The works are housed in the 'Infanta Elena' Museum of Contemporary Art, located in Tomelloso, next to the 'Virgen de las Viñas' winery.
The awards ceremony will be held on 27 December during a gala at the Hotel Palace in Madrid, which will be attended by personalities from the economic, cultural and political spheres, as well as the award winners.
Unicaja is firmly committed to promoting culture and art, especially in regions such as Castilla-La Mancha, which are part of the financial institution's roots and one of its main areas of activity. In this regard, it continues to support this competition and recognises the Cooperative's contribution over the last twenty-four years to recognising and promoting the work of our contemporary creators through these awards.
