On 30 and 31 October, the Malaga Bar Association held its 20th Legal Congress, one of the most important legal events at national level, sponsored by Unicaja.
This edition commemorates two decades since the creation of the congress, which brings together every year hundreds of legal professionals in a common space for training, reflection and coexistence.
The twentieth edition has had a broad multidisciplinary program, with more than 100 speakers and 70 presentations, panels and workshops given by Supreme Court justices, academic experts, prosecutors, legal professionals and institutional representatives.
The program covered different legal specialties, including: Criminal and Procedural Law; Family Law; Administrative Law and Urban Planning; Commercial and Bankruptcy Law; Immigration, Prison Criminal and Human Rights and Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, among others.
The speakers included: Vicente Magro, judge of the Second Chamber of the Supreme Court; Juana Pulgar, professor of Commercial Law at the Complutense University; José Marín y Pérez de Nanclares, judge of the Court of Justice of the European Union; Emilio Calatayud, judge of Minors of Granada; Ana Tárrago Ruiz, chief prosecutor of Andalusia; Javier Hernández, judge of the Supreme Court or Jordi Nieva, Professor of Procedural Law at the University of Barcelona, among many others.
