Unicaja collaborates, one more year, with the Malaga Confederation of Business Owners (CEM, Confederación de Empresarios de Málaga) and again enables financing facility in order to support the business sector of Malaga and help to strengthen its liquidity for their daily activities.

This collaboration is reflected in the agreement signed by the CEO of Unicaja, Isidro Rubiales, and the president of CEM, Javier González de Lara, which reinforces the existing relationship between the two institutions for years.

In this way, the financial institution offers the more than 40,000 self-employed and SMEs and the hundred associations that are part of CEM a complete range of specific products and services, in advantageous conditions and focused on facilitating the activity and undertake investments in the sector.

The financial institution has maintained a close collaboration with CEM since it was founded, having signed agreements in previous years to facilitate financing to companies in Malaga under preferential conditions.

In fact, the renewal of this agreement is part of the general interest of the financial institution to contribute to the development of actions aimed at promoting the business fabric, facilitate economic boost and support employment in Malaga and its province.

The goal is to provide financing to companies based in Malaga in order to continue promoting investments, encouraging foreign trade and supporting the expansion and development of strategic projects of the business sector in the province of Malaga.

Companies, in general, and SMEs, in particular, continue to be one of the key groups in Unicaja's financing policy, especially with regard to Andalusia and, specifically, to Malaga. Thus, one of Unicaja's business priorities is the financing of companies, which are key to the dynamization of the economy and job creation.

Products and services with financial advantages

For Unicaja, it is essential to have a catalog of products and services and, above all,  agility in resolving the proposals of these professionals so as to enable the promotion and progress of their businesses.

Specifically, within this complete offer of products and services under advantageous conditions, those aimed at covering the liquidity needs of these segments, as well as those that allow accompanying them in the development of their investment projects, stand out.

It also reinforces non-financial services, which, through alliances with leading firms in their respective sectors, are made available to the self-employed and SMEs. In fact, to enhance the operability of these agreements and the benefits they bring for this customer segment, the bank concentrates these exclusive professional solutions in a single space on its commercial website, called 'SolucionaT'.

In addition, aware of the importance of the online channel, Unicaja offers this sector the advantages of digital banking, with the development of applications to serve businesses and companies.

For its part, the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Malaga integrates SMEs and self-employed in the province, which exceed 40,000 registrations in the Social Security. One of its objectives is to promote relations between financial institutions and the productive fabric of Malaga to facilitate the normal development of its activity.
