The Business Confederation of the Province of Almeria (Asempal) held this Friday the 14th edition of its awards, which value the contribution of businesses to economic and social growth of the province.
The edition has had the official sponsorship of Unicaja, in addition to Aqualia, Hispatec, Michelin, Primaflor and Travelgas, and the collaboration of Cuellar Stone, P&S Congresos and Senator Hotels & Resorts. The gala included a performance by guitarist and composer Mario Cobo.
The Asempal 2025 Awards recognized Juan Salvador López Segura (Business Career), Viveros Medipalm (Business Initiative) and Santiaga Sánchez Porcel (Corporate Social Commitment). In line with the Planeta-Personas-Bienestar lines of action, the distinctions went to Equinac (Planeta), Banco de Alimentos de Almería (Personas) and Fundación de Arte Ibáñez Cosentino (Bienestar). The special award was given to Fundación CEOE.
Support for the business sector
Unicaja's support for the 14th Asempal Awards is part of the support that the bank provides to the business sector and its interest in promoting and facilitating the economic development of areas where it operates and, specifically, of Almería and its province, one of the bank’s main regions of action.
