Unicaja has renewed its collaboration with ASDE Scouts of Andalusia and offers more than 8,000 scouts that make up this organization a specific service, with advantageous financial conditions, aimed at promoting their activities.
The agreement, which reinforces the close relationship between the two entities, has been signed by Unicaja, by the regional manager for Malaga, Francisco José Reguera, and ASDE Scouts of Andalusia, by its president, Joaquín Muñoz.
The agreement is part of the support that Unicaja provides to the social fabric, education, youth and children, as well as to improve the economic conditions of non-profit organizations within its scope of action, such as Andalusia.
In this context, Unicaja has recently reinforced its commitment to the youth segment, with a comprehensive value proposition of services (financial and non-financial) called 'This is Uni' and designed to accompany young people between 18 and 27 years old in the management of their financial life in a simple way, accessible and adapted to their needs.
Unicaja’s value proposition is built around the Young Person’s Debit Card, to which an agile, secure and functional app is added, with an interface adapted to the consumer habits of this segment of the population. Its functionalities include Bizum, with real-time notifications of expenses, as well as the possibility of activating or deactivating cards directly from the cell phone. In addition, this digital ecosystem incorporates customized tools for financial management and savings planning, such as digital piggy banks.
Products and services
The specific offer that, under this collaboration agreement, Unicaja makes available to ASDE Scouts de Andalucía includes accounts to facilitate the daily activity of the organization, services such as direct debit of bills and payment of taxes and Point of Sale Terminals (POS), as well as mortgage and personal guarantee financing products and a wide variety of insurances.
The agreement also includes other products and services for employees and volunteers of the organization and, for children and young people, a specific offer adapted to their needs, including exemption from fees on the most common services.
Finally, the services are completed with Unicaja's Digital Banking, accessible through the website and the app, where customers can conveniently, quickly and securely consult transactions, perform various operations, operate with integrated Bizum and pay with mobile devices through the Apple Pay, Google Wallet and Samsung Pay apps.
With a focus on continuous improvement of the customer experience, Unicaja aims to consolidate its position as the main bank for the young segment, combining financial solutions for day-to-day life with advantages and experiences that add value.
ASDE Scouts de Andalucía
It is a non-profit NGO that is independent, non-denominational and was declared of public utility in 1997. Supported by young and adult volunteers, it has a marked educational-formative character, being the heir of the union of the different scout groups that were born in the towns and cities of Spain since the early twentieth century.
ASDE Scouts de Andalucía is present in the eight Andalusian provinces and groups more than 8,000 members belonging to more than 80 scout groups. These data make this youth and children's organization one of the most important in the region, both in terms of number of members and territorial presence.
