Unicaja has reached a strategic alliance with Workday, the enterprise AI platform for people, finance and agent management. This collaboration reinforces the financial institution's commitment, as part of its transformation process, to boost efficiency, innovation and improve the employee experience, seeking to make the latter more personalized and agile.

The incorporation of Workday technology will allow Unicaja to advance in the automation of key tasks, integrate in a unified way the processes that make up the life cycle of its personnel and improve the analytical capacity for decision making. The implementation and start-up of the tool will be carried out progressively and will contribute to a better coverage of the needs of the people who form part of the bank, favoring greater proximity, simplicity, flexibility and self-service. In this way, a more agile and personalized experience will be offered to the entire workforce.

"Unicaja's people are the driving force behind our organization and a clear priority in this strategic cycle. This alliance with Workday allows us to continue building a more connected, efficient and human entity,

significantly improving the experience of our staff," said the director general of People, Organization and Legal of Unicaja, Juan Medina.

On this point, he insisted that, "at the same time, having a clear, real-time view of our workforce data and the processes associated with people and talent management allows us to plan better, gain in operational efficiency and involve team leaders more, giving them more tools and autonomy to exercise their leadership effectively".

Adolfo Pellicer, VP & country manager, Iberia, Workday, said "we are very proud to support Unicaja in this innovative project and their confidence in Workday solutions to boost talent management, a strategic priority for this leading financial institution in Spain. This new alliance reinforces our commitment to help organizations build more human management models, driven by AI to be more agile and prepared for the future."

Benefits

Some of the advantages derived from this alliance include the reduction of average time in the key processes of people management; the minimization of errors and duplication in data and process records, by automating their treatment; the promotion of self-service, which allows each person to manage their own services in a more agile and autonomous way, or the greater visibility offered to managers over their work teams, facilitating more efficient management. In short, the incorporation of greater agility, flexibility and personalization of processes will make it possible to increase the satisfaction of the people who work in the organization.

This platform will integrate the processes of planning, execution and analysis of KPIs, optimizing agility and processes related to decision-making and talent management throughout the organization.

Focused on people

Talent management is one of Unicaja's strategic lines. The bank is committed to digital tools that enable it to get to know its staff better, promote their professional development and foster a more collaborative, simple and personalized organizational culture.

This alliance with Workday reinforces the bank's commitment to innovation at the service of the customer and its employees, consolidating a management model that looks to the future without losing sight of people.
